  The S100fs features extended Dynamic Range (100%, 200%, 400%) providing a dynamic range that is similar to that of negative film. Originally developed for Fujifilm’s S5Pro DSLR the extended Dynamic range is made possible by the use of the innovative Super CCD VIII "HR" image sensor combined with the latest "RP (Real Photo ) Processor III image processor. The wider Dynamic Range prevents over exposure and under exposure, allowing photographers to capture every nuance of highlight and shadow - even in high contrast scenes.
• Film Simulation Modes
  The Film Simulation Modes allow photographers to select a film-like character for the scene with a choice of four modes: "Velvia", "Provia", "Soft", and "Portrait". • Multi Bracketing Functions
  Fujifilm’s Multi Bracketing functions; "Dynamic Range Bracketing", "Film Simulation Bracketing", and "Auto Exposure Bracketing" automatically vary the settings, over three frames, taken continuously with a single shutter release, so photographers can concentrate on getting the perfect shot, and decide later which image best captures the moment. The Film Simulation bracketing function produces three images using the Velvia, Provia and Soft modes; Dynamic Range bracketing produces three images using different Dynamic Range settings (100%, 200%, 400%); and the AE bracketing mode provides continuous capture of three frames with exposure ranging up to ±1.0EV steps.
• 2.5" Tilting LCD Display
