With the Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL) Mumbai, set to open in a few days, official sources as well as transport experts have begun questioning whether travelling down the spectacular roadway will save peak-hour commuters as much time as the government had earlier promised it would. With the speed limit reduced from 80 kmph to 50 kmph, it appears that initially at least not much time will be saved by using the roadway. (more…)
